As tuition covers only 95% of the actual cost of educating each child, supplementary fund raising is crucial to the health of Community Montessori School. All families are expected support the school’s Annual Fund campaign to the best of their ability. Your help is essential! Families are also strongly encouraged to join in CMS’s various fund-raising events throughout the year. Whether it’s taking part in the Oak Tree gala or a enjoying a simple pancake breakfast, your support makes a difference. Support the school, and have fun in the process!

Annual Fund
The Annual Fund campaign is held each autumn at the beginning of the school year. The Annual Fund helps to ensure continued educational excellence and financial stability, and supports program expansion and enhancement.
Oak Tree Fundraiser
The Oak Tree Fundraiser is held each spring to raise funds to support a variety of CMS programs. Each event is different but usually includes dinner, drinks, socializing, and an auction. This is a fun way to help CMS continue to provide a caring community in which our children can grow and discover in the finest of Montessori traditions.
Matching Gifts
Some employers participate in a matching gift program. The Friends of Montessori Chairperson can assist with this process.
Directed Giving
Directed Giving is an opportunity to sponsor a specific need such as playground equipment, Montessori workshops for guides, or classroom materials.
Community Partners
In addition to the annual giving campaign and special events, CMS also participates in several programs that allow you to contribute to the school by visiting online and retail sites where you might already do your everyday shopping.
