“We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.”

Maria Montessori

MONTESSORI PROGRAMS

Children in Montessori classrooms engage daily with materials scientifically designed to meet the interests and needs of their particular stage of development.

The mixed-ages groups in the classrooms enable children to gain collaborative and communication skills, confidence, independence, and responsibility.

Additionally, CMS’ beautiful and spacious campus provides outdoor learning opportunities that instill a love and respect for nature.

“My son just turned 6 and has been going to Community Montessori for 2.5 years now. We all love this school so much! I can tell that he thrives there and feels very comfortable in the classroom environment. He enjoys taking responsibility for choosing his work as well as putting things back in their place. He takes pride in his work and I believe a Montessori education allows him to have independence and grow in confidence.

The grounds are beautiful and it feels like more than just a “school”. It’s a place where my child can grow not just inside the classroom but outside of it as well. I can’t say enough good things about this school. We plan to have our son go there through upper elementary!”
