The mission of Community Montessori School
is to provide authentic Montessori education in a nature-rich environment that cultivates collaboration, curiosity, love of learning, and respect for oneself, others and the world.
Our community of Montessori trained Guides and compassionate staff bring the vision of Maria Montessori to life every day. Each classroom environment at CMS holds the full complement of Montessori materials for that age level.
At CMS, students enjoy ample time outdoors on our spacious, 18-acre campus. With a variety of spaces to explore, our students cultivate their curiosity and sense of wonder.
“There must be provision for the child to have contact with nature; to understand and appreciate the order, the harmony and the beauty in nature,”
- Maria Montessori, The Secret of Childhood
Classrooms at CMS are equipped with the full complement of Montessori materials and are designed to match the interests of children at that age level.

I grew up with Montessori practices, so we knew we wanted our son to have the same learning experiences. We appreciate how much care his teachers take. His language and social skills have grown so quickly in just a short amount of time. You can tell he thinks deeper about the world around him.
